In collaboration with WAM Group Indonesia, I provide technology advisory for national port digitalization covering integrated systems, IoT based vessel monitoring, geofencing, and Electronic PNBP readiness to support more transparent and efficient port operations.

Approach

The advisory centers on practical IoT deployment for ports: sensors installed on tug vessels carry identifiable device IDs and are monitored via satellite. Geofencing defines port zones so vessel entry and exit become measurable events and a clearer basis for PNBP collection. Those signals feed realtime Electronic PNBP monitoring at the Ministry of Transportation layer, alongside standardized TOS and INAPORTNET aligned integration paths.
